Sophia of Katseye brought Philippine mythology to life as she transformed into a manananggal in the global girl group's music video for their "Monster High Fright Song" remake.

Katseye released the music video on Friday in an official collaboration with the Monster High Franchise.

Sophia appeared with the rest of the Katseye members, donning fangs and a red outfit as a manananggal.

The rest of the members portrayed local monsters drawn from their ethnicities, such as Megan as a Húli J?ng, Lara as a Rakshasa, and Yoonchae as a Jangsanbeom.

Manon also portrayed a sea monster, while Daniela was a werewolf.

The six members were shown dancing and walking around Monster High as various supernatural events occured around them.

The song “Monster High Fright Song” is the well-known theme song of the Monster High franchise, which tells the story of teenage children of famous monsters and mythical creatures studying at the titular “Monster High.”

Katseye released their latest EP “Beautiful Chaos” in June, which included some of their recent well-known hits like “Gnarly” and “Gabriela.”
