MANILA, Philippines — Girl groups collided at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival when the singing voices of Huntr/x from "KPop Demon Hunters" joined Katseye onstage.

Katseye made their Coachella debut on the massive Sahara stage by first performing "Touch," "Debut," "Mean Girls" and their latest single "Pinky Up."

Yoonchae Jeung, the group's Korean member, then started singing the award-winning track "Golden" and was soon joined by EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna, the song's original singers.

The eight women — Katseye was missing Swiss member Manon Bannerman — onstage continued singing together the slower tempo version of "Golden."

EJAE, Rei and Audrey expressed gratitude after the performance and embraced each member before Katseye continued their set with "Gameboy," "Internet Girl," "My Way," "M.I.A.," "Gnarly" and "Gabriela" with extended dance breaks for the last two.

At one point the group's Filipino leader Sophia Laforteza even noticed an audience member waving the Philippine flag.

Earlier in the day on the Mojave stage, the Nation's Girl Group BINI made history as the first P-Pop act to perform at Coachella.

Sabrina Carpenter was the day's headliner on the main stage, with Justin Bieber and Karol headlining the other days. All the performers will return next weekend for the second half of the festival.
