MANILA, Philippines — Actor Khalil Ramos shared his experience voting at the national elections earlier today.

In his Instagram Story, Khalil said that his partylist vote was not counted because he pressed hard on the other side of the ballot.

"Be extra careful when shading your ballots. I pressed a bit too hard on the first page, and it left marks on the back, right where the partylist section was," he said.

"Sadly, my partylist vote was invalidated due to 'overvoting.' Don't make the same mistake," he added.

Earlier this month, Facebook user Eric Krister Nicolas Songcuan warned the public not to press hard the marking pen on the ballot because it has a tendency to reach the other side of the page. The Comelec, however, said that it is "fake news."

"Is the 2025 Ballot 'Too Sensitive' and Prove to Overvotes Due to Ink Bleeding?
