MANILA, Philippines—Kiefer Ravena’s contract with the Yokohama B-Corsairs officially ended at the end of their campaign in the 2026 Japan B.League regular season.
That, however, doesn’t mean that his time in Japan has come to a close.
On Saturday at SM Megamall during the B.League Final Week in Manila, Ravena revealed that he is switching to another B.League team next season.

He did, however, say that he’s still not allowed to divulge where.
“I think I still want to play overseas, my body can still do it and I’m going back to Japan next season,” said Ravena, who suited up for Shiga in his first three seasons in Japan before playing for Yokohama the past two years.
“I just ended my contract with Yokohama and I’m switching to another team next season. I can’t say where yet but tune in for that news soon.”
Ravena played a crucial role for the B-Corsairs, who compiled a 26-34 record, averaging 11.9 points, 3.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game.
When asked what he took into consideration in choosing his next team, Ravena said: “I just look at the situation.”
“Hopefully I get to a team where I’d need to adjust easily. I want to be with my family as much as I can. Those are the things I look at to play overseas.”
