MANILA, Philippines — Host-actress Kris Aquino joined in on the jests linking her son Bimby and young host Ryzza Mae Dizon during a surprise appearance on noontime variety show "Eat Bulaga."
Bimby has been serving as a guest host in "Eat Bulaga" for the past two weeks, a sort of reunion for him as Bimby appeared on the show years ago when he and Ryzza Mae were still children.
Over an hour into the June 25, 2026 episode during the show's "Sugod Bahay" segment, Bimby surprised the studio audience by announcing his mother was present.
The cameras shifted to the studio entrance where a smiling and waving Kris was wearing a white t-shirt over black bottoms.
Ryzza Mae's co-hosts, including Joey de Leon, Maine Mendoza, Allan K, and Miles Ocampo, urged her to approach Kris, who later quipped she should "kiss her future mother-in-law."
Kris added that she heard Ryzza Mae was being teased, "Don't mind them because success is the best revenge."
The "Queen of All Media" carried on by joking that shem as her son's "wardrobe stylist," helped Bimby dress well and pointed out the "R" on his jacket. She made up for it by wiping off the sweat on Bimby's face.
"'I love you' to all the Dabarkads! Can I guest host next time?" Kris asked, which was well-received by the studio audience.
Kris also bantered with Joey, a fellow veteran of local showbiz, only to dogpile the jokes by saying Ryzza's furture name would be Ryzza Mae Cojuangco-Aquino.
"Bimb, you're the man, be a gentleman. If you're gonna eat out, dapat ikaw magbabayad," Kris told her son before sending him and and Ryzza Mae back to work.
