The Miss World competition is on and Krishnah Gravidez is ready. On social media Thursday, the Filipina beauty queen shared her introduction video for the beauty pageant, where she emphasized quiet courage, "the kind that holds steady, that dares to dream even when nobody's watching," she said in the video.
In the caption, Krishnah shared more about the process of creating the video. According to the our Miss World rep, finalizing the video had her contemplating which part of herself does she "truly want to share with the world?"
She wrote, "To be honest, I couldn't think of anything more meaningful than the roles I've played throughout my life." That means being a service crew member, an online seller, and an aspiring engineer.
"These experiences are my pride. They allowed me to witness the real, often struggling world, and in that I discovered an unshakeable quiet courage," she continued.
"Quiet courage is born from strong belief, faith, and dedication. It doesn't shout. It doesn't make headlines — but it's always there. It was always within us, all this time," Krishnah adds, as she harked on Filipino to tune in and recognize this kind of courage "as our pride, our strength and our hope."
Krishnah has landed in India, where the coronation night will take place on May 31.
