In the well-received series “Incognito” — a joint project of ABS-CBN Studios, Star Creatives, and Studio 360 — Pimentel plays Kenji Lee, a role that sparked curiosity among viewers eager to know who he was.
Despite limited acting experience under his belt, he already shared the screen with a stellar cast including Daniel Padilla, Maris Racal, Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Anthony Jennings, and Baron Geisler.
He dedicated several months as one of the trainers of the cast of Incognito, guiding them through the show’s physical and technical demands. While serving as one of their mentors in action scenes, he also learned from his co-stars, who generously shared acting tips that helped him grow in his craft.
He further shared, “Working with such a talented cast has been a real learning experience for me. I’ve picked up a lot from them, both on and off camera, from their discipline to their creative drive. Collaborating with these actors has been truly inspiring.”

He also shared his experience working with Star Creatives as a newbie in the industry: “They set a high standard that pushes us to elevate our craft and go beyond what we think we can do.”
At a young age, Pimentel was already training in wushu under his father’s guidance, eventually earning a spot on the Philippine National Junior Wushu Team. After his competitive wushu career, he expanded his repertoire to include mixed martial arts, boxing, and Muay Thai, even teaching wushu before fully diving into the world of stunt work and choreography.
He discovered his love for stunts at an early age, watching his father, director Lester Pimentel Ong, at work. At just 10 years old, he appeared in a fight scene on the hit TV series “Lastikman, “marking his first brush with show business.
His professional credits span both television and film. He held small acting roles in ABS-CBN’s “La Luna Sangre” and “Bagani.” He later found his calling as an action choreographer and stunt director, beginning with “One Good Day,” followed by “The Iron Heart,” where he not only choreographed the action but also appeared on screen.
Today, Pimentel is gearing up to promote the upcoming Netflix movie “The Delivery Rider,” starring Baron Geisler, where he served as both stunt choreographer and action director.
Produced by Studio 360’s creative team, the film follows the gripping story of a delivery rider thrust into a dangerous situation, forced to fight his way out. He also makes an appearance, showcasing his skills in one of the film’s fight scenes.
Beyond the entertainment industry, Pimentel has a strong business acumen as the Chief Technology Officer of Binondo Food Group. He studied Business Technology Management at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and went back to the Philippines to actively be involved in his family’s food ventures, which include popular brands such as Dean and Deluca, Rice in a Box, Kyukyu Ramen, and Wangfu, among others.
Looking ahead, Pimentel aspires to build his brands and businesses while continuing to leave his mark in action filmmaking.
Ultimately, Pimentel hopes to take on more quality projects that showcase not only Filipino talent but also the creativity and world-class craftsmanship behind local productions. He’s passionate about proving that the Philippines can deliver work that stands shoulder to shoulder with the best from around the world.
