MANILA, Philippines – The slate of Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano secured a solid victory in the 2025 elections. All of the 24 seats in the city council were won by the councilors under Cayetano.

The two congressional seats of Taguig were also secured by Cayetano’s allies. Reelectionist Ading Cruz secured 118,205 votes beating former Taguig mayor and congressman Lino Cayetano, Lani’s brother-in-law.

In the 2nd District of Taguig, incumbent congresswoman Pammy Zamora also lost against Cayetano-backed candidate Pammy Zamora. Zamora’s congressional bid was backed by Makati Mayor Abby Binay.
