MANILA, Philippines — Online threats allegedly made by students in Las Piñas are being investigated by authorities.

The Department of Education (DepEd) has asked the police Anti-Cybercrime Group and Bahay Pagasa to probe threats against schools and students circulating online.

“We condemn every form of threat and dissemination of unsuitable messages or videos that cause fear to learners and the entire school community,” the DepEd said.

Security protocols will be implemented and schools’ access control will be reviewed by the agency.
