Legarda’s portrait removed from Assumption Wall of Empowered Women

MANILA, Philippines — Assumption College has taken down the portrait of Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda from its “Wall of Empowered Women” following a statement from the student council saying the alumna “no longer reflects the values that Assumption upholds.” Assumption’s student leaders on Friday released an official statement supporting calls for the removal
