As an avenue for authenticity, connection and deeper reflection, art is a luxury that transcends tangible value, and this lies at the heart of the magazine’s newest experience, “Art After Dark.”
The event was a cultural gathering for Lifestyle Asia’s community, capturing the spirit of its fresh direction and celebrating its June “Style and Expression” issue, featuring first-time cover personality Bea Elizalde.
The invitation-only gathering of 100 guests represented a dynamic cross-section of Manila’s emerging cultural and business establishments: young entrepreneurs, artists, collectors and next-generation tastemakers.
“Art has always been the ultimate form of personal expression. It’s about cultivating deeper connections with beauty, creativity and the stories that define us,” chief of editorial content Kerry Tinga said.

As June 2025 cover star, Elizalde embodies the modern, multi-hyphenated tastemaker who encapsulates true style: something that does not follow trends, but rather, acts in service of one’s personal narrative.
Marching to the beat of her own drum, her practice spans a myriad of mediums and approaches — from dance to collage-making, each one constituting an essential part of her individuality.
It is fitting that Lifestyle Asia’s first “Art After Dark” presented the eight-work collection of highly-acclaimed photographer Artu Nepomuceno, “Parabellum,” in its complete form for the first time.
Featuring the graceful movements of ballerinas within the walls of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, it is a nod to the intersectional nature of art-making.
