BACOLOD CITY – A 38-year-old lineman of the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative was electrocuted to death in Barangay Lo-ok, Calatrava, Negros Occidental on Friday, July 25.

Police identified the victim as Jovi Bulfa, a resident of Barangay Bantayanon, Calatrava town.

Police said the victim accidentally touched the secondary line of electrical wire while working and was electrocuted.

The victim was rescued by his companion and with the aid of the Calatrava Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management personnel, was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Noneco condoled with the family of Bulfa.
