MANILA, Philippines – It’s Pride month! Sure, it is the time of the year when rainbows fill your social media feed, your playlist, and maybe even your wardrobe.
But Pride is more than glitters and parades, it’s about showing up for real change. With the SOGIE Equality Bill and other national protections still stalled — and the ongoing fight against hate — the gays and the theys are taking up spaces and marching strong.
Whether you’re an LGBTQ+ individual or a fierce ally, these Pride events aren’t just parties, they’re protests with purpose. Here’s where you can march, speak out, and celebrate with pride.
Baguio Pride Fest
The local government of Baguio City and its community LGBTQ+ organizations are leading the city’s first “Baguio Pride Expo,” bringing together the LGBTQIA+ community and allies for a weekend of celebration and advocacy from June 14 to 15.
The lineup includes a queer film fest, open mic sessions, panel talks, drag shows, and the Miss Trans Global Philippines, plus booths, games, and speed dating for all!
Here are some of the other activities they lined up throughout the month:
- June 7: Seshyhan: Discussion on Pride Militant History at the Teatro Amianan UP Baguio
- June 12: Mural Painting, Cordillera Pride Community Leaders
- June 14-15: PaDOLLVoguean: Baguio Doll NatCos Competition, Baguio Convention and Cultural Center
- June 15: Miss Trans Global PH 2025, Baguio Convention and Cultural Center
- June 29: LGBTQ Outreach Program, Venus Park View Hotel

While MMPride recently announced that they will not hold their annual march and festival for 2025, they will still hold a series of weekly events and activities from learning sessions to community potlucks.

Pride PH
LoveLaban continues as Quezon City and Pride PH has officially announced their plans for this year’s Pride Festival.
Their march and festival, “LOV3LABAN sa Diliman,” is set to take place on Saturday, June 28, at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City.
Per PridePH organizers, they are looking at setting up satellite Pride villages across Quezon City to distribute the number of people swarming to join the celebration.
In 2024, Pride PH reported a nationwide turnout of 228,000 attendees, including conservative estimates from several regional satellite marches, making it the “biggest Pride in Asia.”
But that year’s festival, LoveLaban2Everyone, was canceled due to bad weather. It had one of the most star-studded lineups, featuring Janine Berdin, juan karlos, Sassa Gurl, Marina Summers, BINI, and Vice Ganda, to name a few.

“The 2025 edition of this colorful, festive, and liberating Pride event — still in partnership with SM Supermalls — promises a grander execution, more runners, additional venues, and exciting surprises which definitely will create unforgettable memories for all who participate,” RUNRIO said in its website announcement.
“Events like the Pride Run underscores the importance of sustaining the momentum of pride beyond the race, using visibility in sports to amplify the voices of LGBTQIA+ Filipinos, especially in advocacy and active mobility spaces,” said Philippine Anti-Discrimination Alliance of Youth Leaders (PANTAY) chairperson Thysz Estrada in a press release.
