Floodwaters are seen on Taft Avenue-Quirino on August 14 as heavy rains continue to affect Metro Manila.

MANILA, Philippines — Floodwaters were reported affecting routes in some parts of Metro Manila as intense rains continue to affect the region.

As of 3:05 p.m,  Metro Manila Development Authority and local government units of Metro Manila reported flooding in the following areas:

Completely impassable

Brgy. Del Monte

  • 63 West Riverside: 45 inches, chest deep
  • Florencia West: 45 inches, chest deep

Brgy. Dona Imelda

  • 29, 42, 48 Kapiligan (looban areas/tabing-ilog): 37 inches, waist deep
