MANILA, Philippines — In celebration of Women’s month, several train and bus lines are offering free rides to their female passengers during select days. 

Here are the lines that are offering free rides and the respective dates and times that they will be available: 

• MRT-3 
  • March 8 (Saturday)
    • 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
    • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• LRT-2
  • March 8 
    • 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
    • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• PITX (PITX- MOA - Cubao) 
  • March 4 (Tuesday) 
    • 6 a.m. 
    • 5 p.m. 
  • March 11 (Tuesday) 
    • 6 a.m.
    • 5 p.m.
  • March 25 (Tuesday) 
    • 6 a.m. 
    • 5 p.m.  
• Land Transportation Office Region 1 
  • All of March during select window hours. Philstar.com has reached out to this LTO office to clarify which times and we will update the story once they have replied. The free rides are available in the following routes:  
    • Dagupan City
    • Mapandan to Dagupan City
    • Mapandan to Manaoag
    • Manaoag to Urdaneta
  • In collaboration with the LTO and other government agencies, the Tayug Pangasinan Transport Service Cooperative is also offering a 50% discount for female and LGBTQ+ passengers during the following dates: 
    • March 4 (Tuesday) 
      • 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. 
    • March 6 (Thursday) 
      • 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. 
    • March 11 (Tuesday) 
      • 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The Land Transportation Office is also offering free theoretical driving courses for women, which will be available in two batches. The first batch will have their course from March 11 to 12, while the second batch will have their session on March 13 to 14.
