Lotlot de Leon posted a throwback photo featuring her mother Nora Aunor, and former mother-in-law Pilita Corrales on Instagram.
The three of them were on stage together and held flower bouquets as confetti fell. Nora and Pilita both wore chic pantsuits.
“Both of you must be singing your hearts out.. Enjoy heaven,” Lotlot said in her caption.
Jackie Lou Blanco, Pilita’s daughter, said in the comments section, “yes for sure.”
Lotlot’s daughter, actress Janine Gutierrez meanwhile added, “Love you mom.”
Nora and Pilita—iconic Filipino artists who also have family ties—passed away days apart this April.
Pilita Corrales, also known as Asia's Queen of Songs, passed away last April 12 at the age of 87.
National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Nora Aunor passed away on April 16 at 71. According to her son Ian De Leon, she died of acute respiratory failure.
She had a necrological funeral service and was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Tuesday.
