LUCKY Chinatown ushered in the Year of the Snake with a spectacular "Countdown to Prosperity" concert that drew thousands of enthusiastic attendees to the mall atrium for a night of music and celebration headlined by star Rico Blanco.

The cheers for the night were loudest as the OPM star captivated the crowd with electrifying performances of his iconic hits such as "214," "You'll Be Safe Here," "Kisapmata," and "Your Universe."

Joining him were singtoker Eli Padilla and rising P-pop sensations Alamat and G22, who delivered high-energy performances that had fans singing and dancing along.

GMA Network stars Katrina Halili and Shayne Sava graced the stage to promote their upcoming drama series, "Mother Dearest" as their presence set the tone for the crowd that was already buzzing even before they went up on stage.

The festivities continued at Chinatown Walk and beyond the main stage, where DJ Bandit kept the energy high with an electrifying live DJ set.

The event solidified Lucky Chinatown's reputation as the premier lifestyle destination for Chinese New Year celebrations.

Revelers also took the opportunity to snap photos with their iconic designs, such as the golden Prosperity Tree, Tunnel of Fortune, Johnson Chua's Zodiac Readings, and Year of the Snake installations.

"We are thankful for another successful celebration of the Chinese New Year countdown that wouldn't have been possible without our community here in Binondo, who we always pay respect to and honor as the oldest Chinatown in the world and home to our Filipino Chinese friends. And of course to our performers Rico Blanco, Alamat, Eli Padilla, and G22 for electrifying our crowd," Lucky Chinatown general manager Nori Mizoguchi said.
