Magnitude 5.2 quake jolts waters off Surigao del Norte

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted waters off Surigao del Norte on Monday afternoon, state seismologists reported.  According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the tremor, which was tectonic in origin, occurred at 12:04 p.m. Its epicenter was located 37 kilometers northeast of General Luna, Surigao del Norte, at a
