Magnitude 5.4 quake hits off Occidental Mindoro town

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Mamburao town in Occidental Mindoro on Friday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. In its latest earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 10:38 a.m., with its epicenter located 21 kilometers southwest of Mamburao.
