Magnitude 5 earthquake strikes Ilocos Sur

BAGUIO CITY – A magnitude 5.0 earthquake jolted the province of Ilocos Sur at 9:36 a.m. on Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake’s epicenter was located 49 kilometers (km) southwest of San Esteban town with a depth of 10 km. READ: Magnitude 4.4 earthquake
