MANILA, Philippines — A man died after a truck transporting empty softdrink bottles collided with another truck along the C5 Ortigas flyover in Pasig City over the weekend.
Apple Eguia, traffic aide of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, said the truck helper died from severe injuries.
The southbound lane of the flyover was closed to motorists for clearing operations on Saturday.
The truck drivers were brought to the MMDA traffic bureau for investigation.
