Marcos: Flood control efforts effective, water recedes faster

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday claimed the government’s flood control measures have proven effective in areas like Las Piñas City, saying floodwaters are no longer as deep and recede much faster.  Marcos touted the dredging operations of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the city following continuous rainfall
