Marcos inspects San Juanico Bridge: ‘The retrofit cost us P1.1 billion’

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on Friday that the San Juanico Bridge that stretches from Samar to Leyte, currently undergoing rehabilitation and strengthening works, is expected to return to full capacity by the third quarter of 2026. He made the remarks during an inspection of the 52-year-old structure, which also had its weight
