Marcos seeks journalists’ help to fight fake news

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has sought the help of the media in combating fake news, which he noted is damaging to the public’s perception of truth in society. Speaking at the Malacañang Press Corps Year-end Fellowship on Wednesday evening, Marcos acknowledged the role journalists play in helping people understand pressing societal issues.
