Marcos to newly promoted PNP generals: Be firm and fair

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday urged newly promoted generals of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to be “firm and fair” in carrying out their duties while remaining fully respectful of the rights of every Filipino. He made the remarks during the oath-taking ceremony of 50 newly promoted star-ranked PNP generals at Malacañan Palace.
