Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia announced on his social media accounts on Sunday, April 6, the indefinite break of co-member Marcus Adoro from the band's upcoming project.

This is due to the sexual allegations against Marcus that surfaced in the earlier days of the week.

The OPM singer wrote, “As proponents of justice, we unequivocally condemn all criminal acts and stand against abuse of any form. Above all, we seek the truth.”

“As Marcus makes time to address the matter at hand, he will be stepping back from the upcoming project,” Ely announced online.

In the same post, Ely emphasized that they “unequivocally condemn” abuse and aim to seek the truth.

“We acknowledge the recent allegations that have surfaced online,” said Ely.

At the end of his announcement, Ely noted, “We move forward with humility and deep respect for the truth and social responsibility.”

Marcus Adoro, the lead guitarist of Eraserheads, is yet to comment on the sexual harassment allegations against him.
