MANILA, Philippines — Multi-awarded global superstar Mariah Carey is set to return to the Philippines for a one-night concert on October 14.
The five-time Grammy Award winner made the announcement on Monday (Manila time) through a social media post, revealing the initial venues for her highly anticipated world tour, "The Celebration of Mimi."
"We're taking The Celebration of Mimi worldwide! I can't wait to see you all during this special anniversary year of the Mimi album. More dates to be announced soon!" Carey wrote in the caption.

Apart from Manila, the 55-year-old music icon will bring her tour to Shanghai, China; Bangkok, Thailand; and Kobe and Yokohama, Japan.
Carey, known for timeless hits such as "Emotions," "Obsessed," "Touch My Body," "Bye Bye," "Always Be My Baby," and the holiday classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You," has performed in Manila multiple times — first in 2003, followed by a show in 2014, and most recently in 2018 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Dubbed the "Songbird Supreme" by Guinness World Records, Carey is celebrated for her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, and signature whistle register. An i influential figure in music, she was ranked the fifth greatest singer of all time by Rolling Stone in 2023.
