Marikina solon calls for sanctions on contractor of idle pumping stations

MANILA, Philippines — Marikina 2nd District Rep. Miro Quimbo on Sunday called for the immediate suspension of the contractor and operator of the Iwahig and Tumana Pumping Stations in Marikina after the facilities were found non-operational amid flooding in the area. Quimbo issued the call after personally leading an inspection on the said pumping stations
