Mayon Volcano stays at Alert Level 3 as activity persists – Phivolcs

MANILA, Philippines — The Mayon Volcano remained under Alert Level 3 as the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Saturday recorded continuous pyroclastic density currents and continuous gas emissions. In its 24-hour observation bulletin, Phivolcs said the volcano logged 29 pyroclastic density currents and 261 rockfall events, while no volcanic earthquakes were detected
