THE Metrobank Foundation (MBFI) donated an 8,000-liter fire tanker to the San Andres Manila Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association Inc. (SAMFRVAI) in a blessing and turnover ceremony on Jan. 31, 2025.

This donation strengthens disaster preparedness in one of Manila's most densely populated districts.

MBFI Executive Vice President Philip Francisco Dy emphasized that the tanker's larger capacity enhances firefighting operations and provides clean water during shortages.
