THE Metrobank Foundation Inc. (MBFI) reaffirmed its excellence in public relations at the 60th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal, winning four Silver Anvils among 750 entries.
MBFI was also inducted into the Hall of Fame at the event, organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) at The Manila Hotel.
MBFI's Silver Anvils recognized: "A Heart That Serves: The Metrobank Foundation 45th Anniversary Celebration" (Special Event Milestone), "Sibol: Cultivating Partnerships for Cultural Growth" (Best Use of Partnerships), "Sibol: An Art Exhibition That Moves, In-spires, and Grows" (Special Event Launch), and "GPS²: Empowering Pag-asa Island Through Multi-Sectoral Government Relations" (Best Use of Government Relations).
As part of the Anvil Awards' Diamond Anniversary, MBFI received Hall of Fame honors for three previously awarded programs: Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (2016), Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge (2018), and National Teachers' Month (2020). A commemorative video highlighted MBFI's past Grand and Platinum Anvil-winning initiatives.
"We are deeply honored to receive these prestigious awards," said MBFI President Aniceto Sobrepeña. "They affirm our commit-ment to impactful social development programs."
