CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan, Philippines — Instead of celebrating the season, a car mechanic landed behind bars after police arrested him for beating his two sons on Christmas Day in Bulakan town.
Col. Angel Garcillano, Bulacan police director, said the mechanic, identified only as Robert, was arrested after Barangay Bagumbayan officials sought their help to restrain him from further physically harming his children.
Operatives seized a caliber .38 and a home-made pen gun loaded with a 9mm bullet from the suspect.
