Minimum wage in Central Visayas to rise by P42 per day

CEBU CITY — Minimum wage earners in Central Visayas will receive a P42 daily wage increase, while domestic workers or kasambahays in the region will get a P500 monthly increase, Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino announced on Saturday, Sept. 26. Tolentino, chairperson of the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC), said the commission convened in this
