MANILA, Philippines — The newly crowned queens of The Miss Philippines are excited to represent the Philippines, with Miss Cosmo Philippines 2026 Bella Ysmael and Miss Charm Philippines 2026 Apriel Smith aiming to win the country's first crowns from the respective pageants.
Bella and Apriel are among the queens named at last Sunday's The Miss Philippines ball held at the City of Dreams Manila.
Bella, who represented Taguig and who returned to the pageant after her first try in 2020, described her crowning as “absolutely cosmic,” marking her first international title.
“I’m going to give it my all,” she told Philstar.com at the sideline of the ball. Bella aims to replicate or surpass the first runner-up finish of her predecessor, Chelsea Fernandez, and possibly secure the country’s first Miss Cosmo crown.
The statuesque Pampanga beauty Allyson Hetland calls her win as “super blessed.”
Crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2027, Allyson stands at 6’1” and is one of the tallest candidates in this year’s edition.
“This is the title that I’ve been eyeing, and I’m glad that sa’kin siya napunta,” she revealed to Philstar.com.
Allyson will have ample time to prepare, as her predecessor, Katrina Llegado, is set to compete in Poland this month.
Miss Charm Philippines 2026 Apriel Smith, meanwhile, is still on cloud nine.
“I was super excited. I am looking forward to representing the Philippines on the international stage,” the Cebuana beauty said.
Like Bella, this marks her first international title.
Meanwhile, Miss Eco International Philippines 2027 Jenrose Javier described her feeling as “very grateful.”
Like Allyson, she has a year to prepare since Gabbi Carballo is now on the way to Egypt to represent the Philippines at next week's coronation. Ilongga beauty Alexie Brooks is the reigning Miss Eco International 2025.
The Miss Philippines organization also introduced four new titles: Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2026 Trexy Paris Roxas, Miss Teen Universe Philippines Catherine Bareja Wardle, Miss Tourism World Philippines 2026 Marianne Arellano, and Miss Worldwide Philippines 2026 Nicole Borromeo.
