MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe Côte d’Ivoire Olivia Yacé is the latest addition to the Miss Cosmo 2025 jury panel, following former Miss Universe president Paula Shugart.

Yacé, who was named fourth runner-up at last month’s Miss Universe finals in Bangkok, is the latest figure associated with Miss Universe to join the judging panel of the Vietnam-based pageant.

“Stepping onto the Miss Cosmo stage for the very first time, Olivia Yacé brings with her a legacy defined by brilliance, resilience, and the unshakable power of identity,” Miss Cosmo said on its social media pages. 

“Beyond the titles, Olivia represents a generation of women who walk with purpose. Her work in promoting independence, self-confidence, and the value of womanhood has inspired millions, making her one of the most influential beauty figures of today…. As the final member of the Miss Cosmo 2025 International Jury Panel, her presence completes a council where impact goes beyond the crown,” it added. 

Yacé said she is honored to be part of the Miss Cosmo 2025 panel on her Instagram Stories.

Yacé’s addition to the Miss Cosmo 2025 jury was announced a few days after Shugart was revealed to be returning to judging duties following her successful stint last year. Another Miss Universe beauty, Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, is also returning as a member of the judging panel.

Miss Cosmo 2025 will crown its new queen on December 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where the Philippines’ Chelsea Fernandez hopes to win the title.

Indonesia’s Ketut Permata Juliastrid was crowned the inaugural Miss Cosmo titleholder at last year’s finals, also held in Vietnam.
