MANILA, Philippines — Pageant fans have a chance of choosing who will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe later this year in Puerto Rico.

Final preparations are underway for the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night on Saturday, May 2, at the Mall of Asia Arena, where Ahtisa Manalo will hand over the national title to her successor.

Ten (10) contestants are so far confirmed to be in the semifinals due to fan voting, courtesy of official voting partner and money app Maya, both of which will play a bigger part on the big night.

Global fans will serve as one judge at the coronation night, scoring delegates live during particular segments like Evening Gown and question and answer (Q&A) with a scorecard inspired by the iconic Miss Universe judging system of the '90s.

Scoring from fans will complement the official judging process to maintain the integrity of the overall contest.

Fans can participate by purchasing a Premium Pass on the Maya app through the Miss Universe Philippines tile. On coronation night, fans can score candidates based on their own evaluation after entering the active competition round.

All will be guided through each stage from understanding the judging criteria to reviewing their scores before submission.
