MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will soon launch its policy of a five-minute response time for traffic collisions.
The policy is in its “last week of dry run,” MMDA general manager Nicolas Torre III said in a television inteview on Monday.
Enforcement of the policy applies to public roads and highways covered by the MMDA, including radial and circumferential roads.
While the road crash site is being cleared, Torre said the MMDA would review and provide closed-circuit television footage.
Aside from the five-minute response time, Torre is aiming for a 10 to 15-minute period for clearing road crash sites.
