Monde Nissin posts record first-quarter profit of P3.3B

MANILA, Philippines — Monde Nissin Corp. posted a 34.1-percent jump in first-quarter attributable net income, driven by stronger gross profit, foreign exchange gains and a non-cash fair value gain.   In a disclosure on Wednesday, the food manufacturing giant said its core net income attributable to shareholders rose 11.3 percent to a record P3.3 billion.
