More and more celebrities are stepping up and casting their votes on Monday's local and national elections.
Actress and television host Kim Chiu showed up at her precinct with her sisters.
"In just one day, we are given the privilege to choose the future leaders of our nation. This is our power as Filipino citizens who dream of a better, more progressive country — where the taxes we pay turn into services we truly feel. From local to national positions, let's vote wisely. Let's pray for leaders with integrity and compassion, not just for ourselves, but for the good of the entire nation. Huwag natin sayangin ang pagkakataong ito—bumoto tayo para sa kinabukasan ng mamayang Pilipino," Chiu wrote in her Instagram post.
Her co-host on "It's Showtime," Darren Espanto, also shared a voting update, posting a photo of his ink-marked finger with the caption, "Drove 6 and a half hours to vote today!"

Food content creator and entrepreneur Erwan Heussaff took part in the polls as well.
"Like most of you, I don't how much this vote will count, but its still important to do it. Imagine each vote as an invitation to someone you'd want to host at home for a dinner party. The list will quickly write itself," Heussaff wrote in his Instagram story.
Celebrity couple Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez voted together, joining a growing list of stars who exercised their right to vote, including Dominic Roque, Sharlene San Pedro, Ryza Cenon, Kokoy de Santos, Zsazsa Padilla and Robi Domingo.
Actress Yassi Pressman also cast her vote and expressed her support for her boyfriend, Luigi Villafuerte in Camarines Sur.
"Today, I proudly cast my vote for a true public servant, Luigi Villafuerte. I've seen firsthand your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment you give to your people. Sobrang sipag, galing at talino mo and I deeply admire and applaud all that you do in service of the province of Camarines Sur," Pressman said in the caption.
"I am grateful to stand beside you mahal; a leader who leads with heart and purpose. For the people, always," she added.
Athlete and television presenter Gretchen Ho detailed her voting experience after anchoring the morning news.
"After our morning news, I went straight to my precinct to vote! With a neck-and-neck senatorial race, the individual ballot becomes even more powerful!," Ho said.
"The whole process took me about 45 to an hour, not because lines were long, but because our ACM was pretty sensitive. One of the voters here wasn't printed her receipt. Apparently, the ACM might have missed scanning her ballot, so the Comelec advised to give her a new ballot to do the whole process all over again. An incident report will be filed alongside that. Any kind of fold or crumpling could also affect the scanning by the ACM," she added.
