MUNTINLUPA celebrated its 30th cityhood anniversary on March 1, 2025 with a series of milestone events, culminating in Mayor Ruffy Biazon's State of the City Address at Filinvest Tent, Alabang. Biazon highlighted the city's achievements, ongoing initiatives and future plans, reaffirming Muntinlupa's vision as a smart, sustainable and strong city.

The celebration kicked off with a thanksgiving mass, followed by the groundbreaking of the Mental Health and Palliative Care Building and the Mega Health Center — projects that would strengthen health care and early childhood development.

The city government also awarded its top 10 taxpayers with the Ford Group Philippines, Filinvest Land – Festival Mall and Filinvest Alabang securing the top spots, respectively.

Biazon emphasized that the taxpayers are the local government's partners in its commitment to people-centered innovation, resilience and good governance, showcasing advancements under his 7K Agenda, which stood for kalusugan (health), karunungan (education), kabuhayan (livelihood), kalikasan (environment), katarungan (social justice), kapayapaan-kaayusan (peace and order) and kaunlaran (urban development) as well as smart city initiatives.

The city's dedication to progress earned it national recognition, including its third Seal of Good Local Governance and high rankings in the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index.
