Agasid opened up to The Manila Times about her strong advocacy for autism awareness, a cause close to her heart due to her nephew's diagnosis with mild autism spectrum disorder.

"During my college years, I had the experience of taking care of him and navigating the challenges he faces," Agasid said.

"He is one of my biggest inspirations in my MUPH journey, and I am determined to be a voice for him and others in similar situations, especially those who are struggling financially," she added.

Agasid's vision is to pave the way for a more compassionate society by creating opportunities that empower individuals with autism, promoting a world where everyone can thrive.
