THE 4-year-old girl who died in the incident involving a sports utility vehicle (SUV) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 was laid to rest on Sunday.

Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac, OWWA administrator Arnell Ignacio and deputy administrator Mary Melanie Quiño attended the funeral of the daughter of Danmark Masongsong, an overseas Filipino worker.

Masongsong's daughter was one of two fatalities in the airport incident, while her mother and grandmother were among the injured.

She was laid to rest at Eternal Gardens in Lipa, Batangas, on Sunday.

The driver of the SUV involved in the fatal incident has been charged with reckless imprudence resulting in two counts of homicide, multiple physical injuries and damage to property.
