THE National Police Commission (Napolcom) strongly condemns the alleged case-fixing scheme involving one of its employees who was apprehended in an entrapment operation at Camp Crame, Quezon City on Feb. 25, 2025. The arrested employee was caught receiving P20,000.00 from a dismissed Police Major in exchange for a favorable resolution of the latter's case before the Napolcom.

In light of this serious breach of public trust, Napolcom has launched an immediate investigation to determine the extent of the alleged case-fixing scheme, wherein certain police personnel with pending administrative cases in Napolcom were allegedly solicited for monetary compensation in return for favorable decisions.

Napolcom affirms its uncompromising policy against corruption and asserts that any employee found guilty of engaging in such illicit activities will face the full force of the law.

In response to this incident, Napolcom will implement stricter measures and reinforce existing safeguards to prevent similar occurrences in the future to ensure that its processes remain impartial and untainted by any form of corruption.

Napolcom assures the public that it will leave no stone unturned in addressing this issue and reaffirms its unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism and service excellence in the fulfillment of its mandate.

The public is therefore urged to report any irregularities or corrupt practices to the appropriate authorities as part of a collective effort to uphold justice and preserve Napolcom's credibility as the mandated oversight body of the Philippine National Police.

Any complaint against Napolcom employees may be reported to the Public Information Division and the Personnel and Administrative Service of Napolcom in DILG-Napolcom Center, Napolcom Building, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, West Triangle, Quezon City 1104.
