MANILA, Philippines — People can now apply for a National Bureau of Investigation clearance in just five minutes through the NBI eClearance digital service.
The system, which was integrated on the eGovPH Super App, was launched at the NBI headquarters in Pasay in a ceremony attended by First Lady Liza Marcos recently.
In partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology, the integration of eClearance makes the renewal process for NBI clearance more convenient for the public.
NBI Director Melvin Matibag said eligible users may renew their clearance through the app, reducing long lines in offices.
“This initiative goes beyond technology. It reflects our vision of a modern NBI that embraces innovation, improves operational efficiency and places citizens at the center of government service delivery,” Matibag said.
“With this integration, verified eGovPH users can access NBI clearance services through a secure, interoperable platform,” he added.
