Ninong Ry just cosplayed Taro Sakamoto, the legendary hitman from the hit Japanese manga "Sakamoto Days!"

On YouTube, the Internet's Favorite Ninong shared a 27-minute cooking vlog of where he makes a kamote dish in three ways.

In the vlog, Ninong Ry sported gray hair, eyeglasses, a yellow shirt and a green apron with a name tag "Sakamote" on his chest.

"Dati siyang kinakatakutan ng lahat at hinahangaan ng mga hitman kaso isang araw tumaba si Sakamote. Isa na lamang siyang hamak na tindero sa isang sari-sari store. Samahan natin si Taro Sakamote gumawa ng Kamote 3 Ways," Ninong Ry quipped in the caption.

"Sakamoto Days" follows the story of Taro Sakamoto, a retired professional hitman-turned-convenience store owner who comes back to his dark past to protect his family and loved ones.

The Japanese manga was written and illustrated by Yuto Suzu and was adapted into an anime series on Netflix.

Ninong Ry was among the contestants of Gordon Ramsay's Masterchef-inspired cooking challenge during the culinary icon's special event in Manila in January.

In August of last year, the content creator welcomed his son with his non-showbiz partner Belle in May, marking the beginning of his "dad era."

Ninong Ry, whose real name is Ryan, has captivated Filipino netizens with his down-to-earth, real-talk cooking and food-related videos. On YouTube, he has already amassed more than two million subscribers.

He's become so popular that in June 2023, Michael V. impersonated Ninong Ry with a character he called "Ninong Cry" in an episode of "Bubble Gang."
