MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Ombudsman has dismissed complaints against Executive Secretary Ralph Recto and several others in connection with the transfer of reserve funds of the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) to the national treasury.
In a resolution dated June 2, the Office of the Ombudsman dismissed both the criminal and administrative complaints filed against Recto.
According to the anti-graft body, the complaint lacked prima facie evidence that would establish reasonable certainty of conviction.
