MANILA, Philippines — Original Pilipino Music artists will come together in a benefit concert for fellow musician Allan Mitchell "Daddy A" Silonga who is currently suffering from kidney failure and heart problems.
Daddy A, father of Blaster Silonga, is a member of the bands Daddy's Home and K24/7. He also founded Blaster's band IV of Spades.
Local acts Ben&Ben, Gloc-9, Dilaw, Gracenote, Moira dela Torre, Moonstar88, Imago, Sandwich, 6cyclemind, and Tanya Markova will take the Daddy Aid stage in Marikina Sports Center on May 25.
Also performing are are Lola Amour, One Click Straight, Over October, Jikamarie, Halina, Kiyo, Morobeats, Legit Misfitz, Lily, Shanni, and Sugarcane.

"In a world where headlines are often about rivalries and solo wins, DaddyAid is a rare and powerful reminder of what happens when an entire industry unites — not for fame, but for family," Daddy Aid organizers said
Organizers noted Daddy A's musical genius and mentoring of artists behind the scenes as he faces the need of a life-saving kidney transplant.
They also teased the possibility of IV of Spades performing, this after the band went on hiatus in 2020
"Every ticket sold brings Daddy A closer to healing — and proves that when music speaks, it speaks louder together," organizers ended. "Because this time, the scene isn't just making noise. It's making a difference."
