The Straits Times cited Taiwan's Mirror Media exclusive report published June 4 that Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Van Ness Wu have "finally reached an agreement and will reunite for a concert to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut."

The report also claimed that F4 may also visit other parts of Asia beyond China and Taiwan.

The quartet rose to international fame after starring in the Taiwanese drama "Meteor Garden," which became a massive hit across Asia, including the Philippines.

Outside the show, they recorded three albums and released singles including "Jue Bu Neng Shi Qu Ni (Can't Lose You)," "Yan Huo De Ji Jie (Season of Fireworks)" and their cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love." In 2007 they adopted the name JVKV — based on the members' initials — due to copyright issues. The group officially disbanded in 2009.

F4 first visited the Philippines in 2003 as part of their part of their "Fantasy 4ever" tour. If the Philippines is included in their reunion tour, it would mark their return to the country after 23 years.
