Outages of 4 coal plants trigger new yellow alert over Visayas

MANILA, Philippines – The Visayas grid was again placed under a yellow alert for five hours on Monday due to thin electricity supply. In an advisory, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said the alert status would be up from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.  READ: Visayas in dire need of new baseload power
