IN a landmark move, P&A Grant Thornton released its inaugural Sustainability Report, signaling a shift from compliance-based operations to purpose-driven leadership. Unveiled by Chief Sustainability Officer Chris Ferareza on June 26, 2025, the report reflects the firm’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles — within its operations and across the broader business ecosystem.
“This report is more than a document,” said Ferareza. “It reflects our journey and the values we stand for.”
Though its sustainability journey began earlier, the firm formally launched its efforts in 2022 by asking: What legacy do we want to leave? That question sparked internal transformation — through energy-efficient practices, waste reduction, and employee engagement — and led to the creation of a dedicated sustainability services practice to support clients navigating ESG challenges.
The report arrives at a time when sustainability is no longer optional. With the Philippines among the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations, firms like P&A Grant Thornton play a vital role in shaping sustainable business practices.
More than a collection of metrics, the report is a call to action — for collaboration, innovation, and shared responsibility.
